| Welcome Spiritual sojourner! This page is designed to be a point of contact for anyone not currently participating with a church who might be open to beginning a relationship with the people of First Christian. As you might guess from our vision, "Serving Christ and Community by creating sanctuary," for us the Christian walk is about developing community. It's about learning how to be in relationship with each other while deepening relationship with God. If you participate at First Christian, you will experience love, unconditional acceptance, support, and opportunities for growth. Most importantly, you will find opportunities to experience God's presence, and share your experience with others. Please feel free to email Rev. | Our growing vision On Saturday, June 4, 2005, the leadership of First Christian Church met for a full day retreat. By the end of the day, leaders had reached consensus about a concrete vision and core values of the church's ministry. This vision is guiding new directions for the future. The vision statement is at the top of this page, "Serving Christ and community by creating sanctuary." The core values that were discerned are:
